http://louisvuittonbag.ninja-mania.jp/ Coral Bells Morphology

are herbaceous shade perennials that grow as clumps of leaves arising from a central crown held at, or just below, the soil surface. The crown is a short central stem (a caudex) with leaves arranged on it in a congested spiral with 6 leaves arising from the stem for each complete turn of the spiral (a 1/6 phyllotaxy). Each node also contains a bud that will eventually form a new leaf, an inflorescence, or a short stolon that gives rise to an offset. Tiarella stolons can be quite long and allow the plant to spread throughout woodland gardens as a ground cover.
Leaves
Heuchera, and Tiarella leaves have from 3 to 9 lobes separated by indentations called sinuses. The lobes may be rounded like colmbine, or angled like a maple leaf. The sinuses may be shallow or deeply cut like a japanese maple. The leaves sometimes have toothed edges (dentate margins) and are occasionally wavy or frilled. Some leaf bases are heart shaped (cordate) or angled (sagittate). The surface of the leaf is usually flat but may be wavy or cupped. Heuchera and Tiarella leaves are generally evergreen. The rosettes become flattened in the winter.
The primary ornamental feature of Heuchera and Tiarella leaves is the leaf color. In the wild, the leaves are usually green with occasional contrasting purple veins and silver or white interveinal patches. During the winter they may take on bronze or purple hues. Hybrid cultivars have a wide range of bright colors including vibrant red, yellow, orange, bronze, pink, and purple. Hybrid cultivars may have an interveinal silver-white pattern too. Tiarella leaves are green with a prominent maroon or purple, branched central vein that is sometimes called a feather. Hybrid Tiarella leaves may be green, yellow or bronze. The stems and leaves of Heuchera and Tiarella are often hairy (hirsute)
Flower
Heuchera and Tiarella lowers?are actually inflorescences; a collection of many small bell-shaped, or spidery lorets?on a single floral structure. The flower stalk (peduncle) arises from the caudex and stretches 2 to 3 times the height of the canopy. Each inflorescence may have several small leaves along its length. On Heuchera, the peduncle is highly branched (up to 30 branches) and each branch holds a dozen or so small colorful florets. The branches may be arranged in a http://louisvuittonbag.ninja-mania.jp/ cone-shape or in an irregular spray. The florets are spaced well apart and give the inflorescence an airy appearance. Tiarella inflorescences are arranged as a tight cylindrical brush (like a bottle brush) with several dozen branches containing only 1 or 2 closely ルイヴィトン 財布 spaced florets each. Heuchera and Tiarella florets are only a few millimeters across and are usually downward facing or outward facing. Depending on the amount of branching, the botanical term for Heuchera and Tiarella inflorescences are either cymes, thyrses, or spikes.
Each floret is 5-lobed. The 5 petals may be wide and overlap in a bell-shape or they may be narrow and spreading in a star shape. The anthers are usually extend beyond the petals and provide a feathery appearance. The florets vary in color and include greenish-white, white, pink, coral, crimson, scarlet, and red.
The inflorescence buds are formed during the summertime but they do not grow until they have been exposed to 10 or more weeks of cold temperatures. Heuchera and Tiarella wild species have a flowering period of 3 to 6 weeks but the newer hybrids have been selected for improved duration and may bloom for months.
Fruit ヴィトン バッグ and Seed
The fruit is a dried structure called a capsule which ruptures in the late summer or fall, releasing hundreds of small, pointed seeds. The capsules rupture from the top. The exposed seeds of Coral Bells are held within the open capsule for a long time and are easy to collect.
