A Leon County juror was found in criminal contempt when he showed up to jury duty intoxicated on Monday. The juror was sentenced to 30 days in Leon County Jail, according to Grant Slayden, trial court administrator for the Second Judicial Circuit. The court originally believed the mans behavior was a ploy to avoid jury duty before several jurors said the man smelled like alcohol.
